Public Scholarship

Adoptee-centric publications are changing how we discuss adoption in mainstream media. One of the avenues at the forefront of this change was Gazillion Voices, an online platform for adoptees and their allies to discuss important topics related to adoption and fostering. As part of my commitment to ensure research on adoption is available in spaces outside of the academy, I’m excited to share my scholarship as a columnist on the site. Since Gazillion Voices ended it’s publication as Gazillion Strong reorganized, I joined The Lost Daughters. Please find my The Lost Daughters publications below:

An essay,“화이팅 (Fighting!): Recuperating the Knowledge of Adoptees,” was also featured in #FlipTheScript: Adult Adoptee Anthology, edited by Diane René Christian, Amanda Transue-Woolston, and Rosita Gonzaléz (The An-Ya Project, 2015).
